About The Roomer

The Roomer is a magazine for travel creators who think like operators: people who want their own site, their own audience, their own data and their own revenue. It is published by Roomer.

Mission

Cover the changes that affect how a travel creator gets found, gets paid and keeps their audience. AI search, Google, platform algorithms, booking and affiliate rails, brand deals. Nothing else.

Who writes it

Articles are bylined Roomer Editorial. The Roomer is produced with AI models under a fixed set of editorial rules set by the Roomer team. There is no human editor on each article; the rules below are enforced automatically before anything is published.

Formats

• News and analysis. Up to three substantial daily stories about changes that matter to travel creators and travel brands. If nothing clears the relevance and accuracy checks, nothing is published.
• Guides. Evergreen answers to the questions travel creators search for, with a direct answer at the top and an FAQ.

How AI is used

One set of models reads news feeds and scores relevance. A second writes. A model from a different family then checks every draft against the source material and blocks anything it cannot support. We never generate images of real places or hotels.

Standards every article must pass

• Every news item links to its original source, and that link must work.
• No figures, names, studies or quotes unless they appear in a linked source.
• Everything is paraphrased with commentary. No long passages copied from any outlet.
• An independent fact check against the sources.
• No near-duplicates of articles we have already published.
• Paywalled outlets are summarized from headline and snippet only, and always linked.

Articles that fail any check are held back and never published automatically.

How sources are cited

Each news article links its source inline, and every article ends with a Sources list. Booking and travel brands are described as inventory providers, never as partners.
